Bulletin

Thursday evening, October 26th.

C&A members have been busy for last few days setting up the Gwydir Stage for the competitors and spectators on Sunday morning. The weather has not been favourable but It seems that a good time was had by all and, as always, the team (old & new) have worked well under some difficult circumstances.
Gwydir Forest is very close to Llanrwst and Betws y Coed, making it accessible to ramblers and bikers. Their presence has not made it an easy Stage to set up as extra care has been required to ensure that safety is a priority!
Following a great recce the track is quite muddy and it appears to be a fast Stage. We are looking forward to Sunday (memo to me ....buy more bacon!!!). It will be a very long day...marshal signing on starting at 6.00 am, first car at 10.00 am, then a whole Stage to clear and equipment & vans to be returned to Oswestry.
Tonight is a bit of a chill-out time for the team... Rally Start at Tir Prince. Tomorrow we are all out marshalling in Chester, before a final look around Gwydir on Saturday!

Look out for more updates (they have been delayed due to dodgy WiFi in the house😫) and some more photos will follow!
I will sign off now, leaving Paul Morris to continue on his autograph hunt and, as we mingle with the drivers, our James Robertson made a bid to be famous and wanted his own photo up with the stars!!!
