Report
Members of the Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain arrived at their base at the Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris, during Saturday afternoon and headed for Trac Môn after breakfast on Sunday for scrutineering and noise check. Twenty six cars competed on the event, which began with a parade lap of the Circuit.
Competitors then left at one-minute intervals on a route of about sixty miles prepared by Huw Gwyn Jones and Peredur Davies on the roads of north-west Anglesey. There was a late morning coffee stop at Melin Llynon and a lunch halt at Gwesty Gadlys, Cemaes Bay, prior to the finish at Moelfre before competitors made their way back to the Bulkeley Hotel for evening refreshments.
The event was very well received by the Ferrari club members and thanks go to several C&A Motor Club members that turned out to marshal.
Thanks to Peredur Davies and Dion Bee for the photos used on this page.
