The competitors on the Dave Read Stages enjoyed a great day at Trac Môn on an event that ran smoothly in brilliant sunshine. The impressive entry list included several C&A Motor Club members and an array of vehicles to keep spectators entertained.

Car 19: Tom Parkes as co-driver.

Car 25: Jamie Atherton as co-driver (non-starter).
Car 31: Ifan Devine as co-driver.
Car 40: Richie Hughes / Merfyn Williams (non-starter).

Whilst some of our members enjoyed success, it was mixed fortunes for the rest. Their results are as follows:
Car 1: Rob Hughes / Sion Cunniff – 1st in Class E award / 2nd overall.
Car 8: Dylan Thomas as co-driver – 5th in Class D / 11th overall.
Car 11: Wil Owen / Cloe Louise Thomas – 11th in Class D / 29th overall after a maximum on Stage 8.
Car 19: Tom Parkes as co-driver – retired after Stage 5 with gearbox problems.
Car 23: Berwyn Evans / Mari Hâf Evans – 3rd in Class D award / 9th overall.
Car 31: Ifan Devine as co-driver – 1st in Class B award / 16th overall.
Car 50: Ian Clapham as co-driver – 5th in Class C / 22nd overall.
Car 53: Driver – Joe Roberts – retired after Stage 7.
Car 55: Dion Rowlands / Kai Alcock – retired after Stage 6 with a bent strut.
Car 63: Dyfed Ireland / Dylan Ireland - 9th in Class C / 35th overall.

Information
This is a one-off event that Warrington & District Motor Club is running instead of the Enville Stages in memory of Dave Read, who had been a member of Warrington and District Motor Club for 40 years, a former Clerk of the Course and one of the main instigators of closed road rallying in the North West. The event will be held at Anglesey Circuit/Trac Môn and is a single venue stage rally offering approximately 45 stage miles on mainly tarmacadam.
Several C&A members are senior officials for the event and are listed in the Supplementary Regulations below.

The event will require many marshals to ensure it's smooth running. Our chairman, Huw Gwyn Jones, is the Chief Marshal and if you are able to volunteer, you should register using the following link: Marshal Registration
