Latest News - Event Cancelled
The following statement was issued by the organisers and sent to all competitors on 21st November 2024.
Following the issue of a yellow weather warning for this weekend due to the approaching Storm Bert, and after taking advice from the relevant authorities at Motorsport UK, the organising team have decided on the grounds of safety to cancel this weekend's Pentraeth Subaru Glyn Memorial Stages. We fully appreciate that this will be a huge disappointment to many of you but rest assured that it has not been taken lightly. We have been in discussions during the day with the safety team at Motorsport UK and have held discussions with the appointed Motorsport UK Steward who shared our concerns given the magnitude of the approaching storm.
We have looked at an alternative date, but running so late in the year meant that we could not find a date that would allow all the championships that the event is part of to conclude their sporting year prior to the start of the new sporting year.
We would like to offer our thanks to all those who have supported the event; entrants, crews, marshals and officials alike and we look forward to welcoming you back to Anglesey Circuit in 2025.
We will be in contact soon regarding refunds.
